Start learning Arabic with our free A1 and A2 reading lessons, designed for beginners. Each lesson includes short texts in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) with interactive exercises and worksheets. Build your vocabulary, practise reading real-life texts, and gain confidence step by step.
All lessons are organised by CEFR level (A1–A2), so you can learn Arabic at your own pace. Before you begin, we recommend knowing the Arabic alphabet. If you haven’t already, start with our free Arabic Alphabet Workbook.

All free reading lessons are in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), the written form of Arabic used in education, news, and formal contexts.
To build communication skills, you’ll need to study dialects. We offer audio courses in Gulf Arabic, with Levantine Arabic coming soon.
